Bio

Dr. Hairston is double Board Certified in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry, as well as a Fellow in Infant Psychiatry. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, NC; completed Psychiatry Residency at VCU Health Systems in Richmond, VA; received her Fellowship in Infant/Child/Adolescent Psychiatry at LSU in New Orleans, LA, where she treated survivors of Hurricane Katrina. She is trained in Psychotherapy, Life Coaching, Satir Family Therapy, as well as Non-Violent Communication.
